Reminder: John Dos Passos Conference’s Call for Papers Deadline Extended!

The Call for Papers deadline has been extended to January 30! The John Dos Passos Society invites papers for its second biennial conference, June 2-4, 2016, in Madrid, Spain. Any topic relative to Dos Passos is welcome. Please send an abstract of 250-300 words and a brief CV to jdpsociety@gmail.com by January 30th. Make note of any A/V requests in your abstract. The conference will be conducted in English.

As this blizzard pounds the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, I think often of good times in Madrid. The clarifying light–perfect for photography. The abundant but not overpowering sunshine. The ease of a good Spanish lunch. The picante of a good chorizo. It’s just the right sort of place to be to welcome the beginning of summer.
